I've been trying to make my peace with them, since they eat other bugs, but I just wish they would stay out of sight. A big one just walked across the floor, right in front of me.
Would it be creepier or not if they were actually invisible?

OMG!!!!! Last night I was sitting on the floor in the living room, fixing the printer... and I glanced over and saw one heading RIGHT FOR ME!!!!! I'm not usually all girlie about bugs... but I shrieked and scampered into the kitchen while Jon crushed it with his boot and he and Bobby both laughed and said they'd never seem me move so fast!
Have some compassion for centipedes. They live their whole lives dreading August, when they have to buy school shoes!
